Story
Call of the Sea’s mission is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds, and especially youth, to connect with the sea, San Francisco Bay, and seafaring. Our hands-on programs focus on the ocean and bay environment, our nautical heritage, seamanship, teamwork, and leadership. Seaward and Matthew Turner are well-suited to both the ‘inside’ waters of the bay and the’outside’ waters beyond the Golden Gate and our programs range from 3 hour Bay sails for all ages to challenging week-long coastal voyages with teenagers. We offer wintertime voyages along the Californian coast for adults and youth groups. Seaward and Matthew Turner are also available for collaborative programs with educational partners as well private charters and public sails.
