Story
Carlyn was purpose built as a sailing training vessel for Four Winds Camp a traditional summer camp on Orcas Island WA. Summer programs include a 3 week voyage into Canadian waters as well as shorter overnight cruises around the San Juan Islands. During the spring and fall Salish Sea Expeditions (now part of the North West Maritime Center) offers marine science based programing for school groups. Classes join us for 3-5 day voyages, where students discover the Salish Sea marine ecosystem through scientific inquiry as well as participating in hands on sailing activities.
