This replica of a 19th century “coaster” can accommodate 24 overnight guests and 59 passengers for day excursions. Manitou is certified as a passenger vessel by the US Coast Guard and offers day sails on Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan for visitors well as private charter service to family, company, and motor coach groups. In addition, Manitou offers overnight Windjammer cruises: Explore the remote islands, secluded bays, and picturesque coastal villages of northern Lake Michigan on our three, four, and five-day sailing adventures.

In conjunction with Inland Seas Education Association Manitou hosts the Schoolship Program, which provides an environmental, historical, and sail training education for students during the spring.
