Story

Aquidneck is a gaff rigged, coasting schooner designed and built specifically for the passenger charter trade.   She is an accurate reproduction of a late 1800’s coasting schooner that was built in Southhampton, NY. She is named after Aquidneck Island on which Newport, Rhode Island is located. Sister ships include the schooners Freda B (ex Liberty) and Inland Seas. Aquidneck offers daily scheduled day sails and private charters from historic Bowen’s Wharf in Newport, RI.
