Join us in Sausalito, CA and Call of the Sea – Bay Model Visitors Center for a community muster on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, November 7-9! We’ll share information and program news as we wrap up another year of tall ship sailing and look forward to the future.

Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9 – Each day, have breakfast on your own and we’ll order food for lunch. All drinks and meals are “no host” except lunch on Saturday, which will be sponsored by Allen Insurance and Financial.
FRIDAY, November 7: (Breakfast and Lunch on your own)
The visiting Norwegian sail training ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl (322’) will be docked at the Exploratorium on Pier 15 until around 2:00 PM in the afternoon. Call of the Sea is planning to escort Statsraad Lehmkuhl out of the gate on Friday afternoon. Boarding is at 12:45PM and you can purchase tickets here.
1:30 – 4:00 PM Educational workshop offered by RISE and sponsored by Tall Ships America at Bay Model.
5:00 PM or after – Meet at the newly renovated Tam Tavern “beer garden” next to the Holiday Inn (Tam Junction Mill Valley) Casual “no host” food and drinks. All welcome.
SATURDAY, November 8: (Breakfast on your own) Lunch hosted by Allen Insurance and Financial.
9:00 AM- 4:00 PM Tall Ships America Community Muster at The Bay Model.
4:30 – 6:30 PM – Open – Visit downtown Sausalito, and The No Name Bar
7:00 PM – No Host dinner at The Spinnaker Restaurant in downtown Sausalito. Reservations requested in AM.
SUNDAY, November 9: (Breakfast and lunch on your own) 10:00 – 11:30 AM – Tour of historic Spaulding Marine Center with information on their Internship Program – Boatworks 101.
11:45- 12:30 PM – Purchase a salad or sandwich at Molly Stones Grocery a block away on Harbor Drive. BYO food and beverages to the afternoon sail.
1:00-3:30 PM – Complimentary Sail on the brigantine Matthew Turner. Located at the Bay Model Dock. Boarding is at 12:45PM
And more: Call of the Sea is offering a special day-sail on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11. From 10:00-1:00 PM. Tickets are at www.callofthesea.org – Public Sails.
Recommended closest lodging: The Holiday Inn Express, 160 Shoreline Highway, Mill Valley, CA. (Between Sausalito and Mill Valley in Tam Junction.) This hotel is on a waterway off Richardson Bay, provides breakfast, parking a pool and a view, if you request “mountain view”.
For a less expensive option, the Muir Woods Lodge (not really at Muir Woods) is across the (busy) street at 155 Shoreline Highway. Both seem to have free parking and WIFI.
