When you join Tall Ships America, you are joining a community of sailors, educators, cooks, engineers, historians and volunteers of all ages who believe in the life-changing potential of time onboard and under sail. Your membership increases the impact of this unique community and demonstrates your dedication to the idea that time onboard and under sail pays dividends, developing future leaders, training skilled and qualified mariners, building high-functioning teams and supporting individuals as they discover and realize their own potential.
Tall Ships America is the voice for sail training and experiential education on tall ships in North America. Collectively, Tall Ships America organizational members represent more than 85% of the traditionally rigged fleet in America. We are a not-for-profit organization run by a small staff team, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and supported by many other volunteers who contribute hundreds – if not thousands – of hours of their time each year as advisors, ambassadors, connectors, and advocates for traditional sailing.
