Operations Manager/Captain Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Spirit of Buffalo from May through October.
Captain Tall Ship
Develop and implement an overall operations strategy to ensure efficient management of resources, schedules, and staffing.
Set policies and procedures, ensuring safe and enjoyable sailing experiences for guests.
Recruit, hire, and train new staff, including U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captains, deckhands, bartenders, and customer service representatives.
Track operational budgets, manage expenses, and optimize financial performance.
Act as the primary community liaison, working with local schools, organizations, wedding planners, and corporate partners.
Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on board.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluations to all team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Pay: $25.00 per hour or Salary opportunities

Housing available.

Expected hours: 30-40 per week
