It’s been two years since we last were all together and we can’t wait to celebrate 50 years of Adventure and Education Under Sail® with you!
Join ships’ captains, crew members, program administrators, organization leaders, educators, port representatives, and more, for professional development, networking, hands-on learning and informative sessions.
February 7 – 9, 2023 Crew Rate is available to all non-officer crew members (Bosun, Engineer, AB, OS, Deckhand, Educator)

Videos from the day have been uploaded to the Whova platform. If you are a registered attendee, you can view them until March 15th.
Service Crew Positions have all been filled but you can still register as a crew member at the crew rate. Berths are still available on Oliver Hazard Perry to crew members. The cost to stay on board from Monday, Feb. 6th through Friday, Feb. 10th, is $100. If interested, please contact erin@tallshipsamerica.org

TF Green Airport is about 30 miles from Newport. The Newport/Claiborne Pell Bridge has a toll. RIPTA bus that services the airport and goes to Newport Gateway Center (next to the Marriott) is #14. If you take the train, #64 goes from Kingston Station to Newport Gateway Center. You can find more information at – www.ripta.com Ride Sharing is available via the WHOVA app. This tool can be found in the Community Board under “Airport Ride Sharing”.
A block of rooms has been reserved for conference attendees at the Newport Marriot for $149.00 per night (excludes taxes and fees). The room block is for Sunday, February 5 – Friday, February 10, 2023. The room block will release on Monday, January 16, 2023. After that date, we cannot guarantee the group rate. Click here to access the conference booking page via Marriott.  Through a generous donation from Oliver Hazard Perry Rhode Island, we are able to provide accommodations aboard Oliver Hazard Perry (berthed at Bowen’s Wharf) for those crew attending the in-person conference in Newport. Berths are available from Monday, February 6th to Friday, February 10th at a cost of $100 for the duration. This option is only available for those attending the Newport conference at the Crew Rate or those participating as Volunteer Service Crew.
In Person Registration There will be a $100 handling fee for cancellations prior to February 1st. After February 1st, there will be no refunds for cancelling your registration. However, you can transfer your registration to another attendee. Requests for cancellation must be submitted via email and refunds will be issued in the same method of payment used to secure registration. Crew Resource Days We do not accept registration cancellations for any virtual programs where recordings of the program/event will be available after the live broadcast. If you cannot participate live, you are encouraged to view the recording of that event or you can transfer your registration to another person.   Please email erin@tallshipsamerica.org if you need to transfer or cancel your registration.
